The Website Marketing Manager will play a key role in supporting Code.org’s digital engagement strategy. Reporting to the Director of Email & Website, this role focuses on managing, optimizing, and enhancing the user experience across Code.org’s main and partner websites.
The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency, a solid grasp of UX/UI principles, SEO, and web analytics, along with a deep passion for making digital experiences accessible, engaging, and mission-aligned.
Manage and optimize Code.org and CSforALL websites for performance, accessibility, and content quality.
Collaborate with developers and engineering teams on technical updates and creative improvements.
Implement UX/UI improvements using data, user research, and analytics insights.
Support content strategy and ensure consistent messaging across web properties.
Maintain compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) and mobile responsiveness.
Support SEO strategy, keyword research, and metadata optimization.
Use Google Analytics and Search Console to analyze traffic, engagement, and performance metrics.
Provide actionable insights and contribute to data-driven marketing decisions.
Partner with the Marketing Analyst to develop KPI dashboards and performance reports.
Optimize donation and advocacy pages for improved conversion rates.
Assist in personalizing user experiences using dynamic content strategies.
Conduct A/B testing and heatmapping to refine engagement flows.
Partner with the Marketing, Advocacy, Fundraising, and Program teams to align web content with organizational campaigns.
Collaborate with external contractors and web vendors to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables within budget.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Web Design, or related field.
5+ years of experience in website management, digital marketing, or UX/UI design.
Proficiency in CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Framer) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEO tools).
Strong understanding of UX best practices, SEO, responsive design, and content architecture.
Excellent project management and collaboration skills.
Experience with WCAG accessibility standards, HTML/CSS, and design tools (Figma, Adobe XD).
Familiarity with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, Ninetailed), and modern frameworks (React, Next.js).
Strong grasp of technical SEO, GA4, and internationalization (i18n) principles.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Willingness to travel at least twice per year for team events.

Salary Range: $88,200 – $98,000 per year (based on experience and internal equity).
